SBI Rewardz is a loyalty program launched by the State Bank of India. You earn loyalty points for every purchase you make with the SBI Credit card. The points can be earned for practically anything that you would do with the SBI debit card.
While most of the loyalty points programs are designed to provide you with the benefits for every Rs. 100 spent by you, the SBI rewards makes it a minimum of Rs. 200 spend on earning reward points. For every Rs. 200 spend on the card; you will earn two points. Please note that some card types offered by SBI will have differential loyalty points.
How to use SBI Rewardz Points?
Well, it should be quite easy and simple. However, before you can log in to your State Bank Rewardz login, you will need to activate your account.
Let us guide you on how to do it –
- Go to SBI Rewardz point website.
- Locate the option to sign in and choose the option First Time user.
- You can either use your Customer ID or Card number to log in.
- Enter your choice of options and click on
- You will get an OTP or One Time Password when prompted. Please note that you need to have your mobile number registered with the bank for receiving the OTP.
- Enter your OTP when received, and you can now set your password for the account.
That does it. You will keep accumulating the reward points for every transaction you make using the SBI credit card.
How to Redeem SBI Rewardz?
Each of the points you earn on SBI Rewardz will be equivalent to Rs.0.25. That would mean for every 4 points you earn; you can accumulate Re. 1. The reward points can be used for a variety of purposes that include mobile recharges, DTH recharges or even buy items from the website.
There are other rewards, as well. For the first transaction made within the first month of getting your card, you will earn 50 reward points. For the second transaction within the month, you will earn an additional 50 reward points. For the third transaction of the month, the reward points awarded would be 100. That would mean you can earn up to 200 bonus reward points for the first three transactions within the first month.
The transactions conducted within the birthday month would get you to reward points at a rate of 2X. That would mean, your reward points for the birthday month will be 4 points for every Rs. 200 spent. The net banking transactions offer you 10 reward points for every transaction. The rewards can be redeemed for the following options –
- Mobile and DTH recharge
- SBI Gift cards
- Movie tickets

The E-Vouchers can be obtained across multiple platforms. Some of them include Croma, Lifestyle, Big Bazaar, Shoppers’ Stop, Amazon, Flipkart, Book My Show, and a few other similar services. The SBI Rewardz website also hosts a good array of products. Most of the products available on the website can be redeemed are available from IGP.com. You can either redeem your SBI Rewardz points or choose to make a combination of the debit card plus rewards points if you do not have enough points in your account.
